After meeting with the team for the first time, their needs and philosophy became crystal clear. They needed an aggressive logo that would be recognized both locally and abroad. To accomplish this I chose to incorporate a vector drawing of the historic rainbow bridge of downtown Folsom, along with a rider screaming down the road, completely out of the saddle, made into a silhouette by a fiery red sky in the distance.

This image became the inspiration and set the tone for all of the remaining elements. The site was built on top of the wordpress cms so multiple team members would be able to contribute as authors without ever having to dive into code. The background of the made to look like the fabric of the chest piece of the jersey, standing tall behind the content posted from the riders.

However, the jersey is the real standout of it all. With the artwork magnified and stretched across the chest and back of the jersey, there is no way you can miss these guys out on the trail. The bold colors, extensive detail work, and careful balance of space really sets these guys apart from the others out there.

As a whole, it was an incredible project to work on and I look forward to the next like it.
